Spring Festival Traditions

On January 30, 2006 I spent a day roaming the streets of Shanghai watching
people observe the Spring Festival holiday (also known as Chinese New Year).
I started in Xu Jia Hui and walked to Yu Garden meeting people and talking
about how they celebrate New Year’s along the way. The photos are
sequential on the path of my day’s walk.
