Thirty-six rock bands perform over three days and nights at Rock It -- one of Shanghai's largest outdoor rock festivals. It's the inauguration of the yearly Rock It Festival and the kickoff of ''Splashdown 2007'' an entire summer of music, entertainment and daytime and night time activities at Dino Beach Summer Stage -- The Official Home of Summer!

Rock It marks a first for Shanghai -- It's a full daytime and night time multi-day, outdoor live rock music event, the only one of it's kind permitted within Shanghai's city limits this year and it is set to rock your socks off. The timing of the festival provides a perfect platform for many of the bands to perform for the international press as media interest and attention on China's homegrown rock scene continues to gain momentum.
