Lower prices and wider choices attract many customers and flower shop owners to Jingwen Flower Market on Shanxi Road South in downtown. This flower market has a fantastic selection of fresh and silk flowers. Most of the hotel and business establishments buy flowers at this market. The upstairs shop owners offer an excellent selection of Christmas decorations in November and December. Its annual sales reach 200 million stems, representing about two-thirds of the city's total and one-tenth of the nation's.

There, one can buy a bunch of fresh flowers for 10 RMB (USD 1.30) and get a decent basket of flowers for about 20 RMB (USD 2.60), Jasmine and Magnolia Heptapeta at a wholesale price of 20 RMB (USD 2.50) per kilogram which are the speciality of a group from South China's Guangdong Province

225 South Shanxi Rd, near Yongjia Rd, not far from Xiangyang Market and Parkson
