Studying Chinese
Shanghai-ed has a good list of schools that offer real teachers. You can always trade language lessons with the Chinese folks eager to improve their English -- especially if you are single!

International Schools
If you are looking for some good international schools for your children to attend look at the AmCham site or on Shanghai-ed.

Moving to Shanghai
That is what a large part of this site is about. Browse through the Travel logs in stories and look at the features - especially questions from visitors. However these sections of Shanghai Guide and Shanghai-ed have some good suggestions.
