Get your groceries at home. City Shopping provides home delivery of groceries. Life just got that much easier for us - though they have been doing this for a couple of years. They are targeted toward the expat community. They answer the phone in English and the person taking the order speaks pretty good English.

We just found this a couple weeks ago. Quality was pretty good on just about everything (good vegetables and croissants) and prices, while not the cheapest, were quite reasonable. Call in the morning and get it that afternoon. Their number is (021) 6267-4248. Ask for a price list of items. When in Puxi, we went to Carrefour a lot. In general I was pretty happy, though their veggies needed to be a little fresher, their bakery was great. Selection overall was great. Now we are nowhere near a Carrefour in Pudong, so we shop at the local Lotus. Its OK, but I liked Carrefour better.
