Welcome to the Leisure Channel! In the coming months, there will be quite a few changes around here and I wanted to take a moment to tell you what’s coming.

This channel is devoted to how we spend what little leisure time we have here in Shanghai. If you’re looking for anything from dining and nightlife to weekend entertainment, this is where you’ll want to look. The Leisure Channel team, with help from our members here in Shanghai, will be providing reviews of restaurants and bars around the city so you can make the most of your time out on the town. In addition to our restaurant reviews, we are looking forward to highlighting some fun day trips outside Shanghai, as well as some weekend getaways.

We will also be organizing a number of get-togethers and other fun events around town, where you can meet other members of the ShanghaiExpat.com community. It’s a great opportunity to meet some new friends and see some new places. Our goal is to help make the ShanghaiExpat.com off-line community as vibrant and helpful as our on-line community already is. Whether you have just arrived in Shanghai and don’t really know what there is to do, or if you’re a seasoned expat who’s just tired of doing the same things every weekend, we hope to have something for you.
