Another totally useless 'university'. My goodness, when will this country ever reform their education system?!. I get these job applicants from 'famous chinese universities' all the time . Even when their degrees are not fake, they are utterly useless. Living in a bubble world with a mindset of a 7 year old, and absolutely no touch with reality. |

Yes I agree. People tend to put far too much emphasis on degrees in China. When I interview local candidates, I really don't care where they got their degree from - I can train them in the job. I cannot however train them in being human beings with social skills beyond eating and drinking with their families, and watching basketball. I usually ask them about travel they have done within China, projects they have undertaken by themselves, hobbies or sports they have excelled or had a go at, charity work, how they have helped others, how others look up to them and the hardest of all for them - "tell me about one of your failures"....... Vast majority are stuck for answers on these. Usually I get answers like "I was the top chemistry student at middle school" or a spotty oik saying "I was the Shanghai Number 1 mathematics student" to which I would respond "Am I bovvered?" |
