In spite of the looks, I will probably have another umbrella to give away. Its spring and from the looks of things last week, someone will need it . Great sunny day today though. Will get some great looks on this sunny day carrying an umbrella. |

Hi Michael,
I would like to join the weekly Coffee Brunch, but would like you to clarify for me that whether I would be welcomed.
I am sort of a new comer to Shanghai, but not really an expat as such. I mean I am actually a Chinese, but had been stayed in Australia(study +work)for 6 years, and temporarily come back to China to work for a couple of years(mainly reason as you know that during the economic crisis, it wasn't so easy to find a job especially in the HR area that I had studied in Australia). I had chosen Shanghai to work it's the city most likely I can keep up with my "English world"--where it has book stores for foreign languages, the communities such as Shanghai Expat where I can meet and hopefully make friends with foreigners, to share life in Shanghai, and experience from western world. |

No need to contact anyone or make a res, but show up fashionably late, about 12:10

Yes.. its still on.. No need to regsiter. .just show up.. its informal. It says it starts at 12.. but most people sleep in a show up around 1. Yes.. tulip.. we have locals come.. we welcome participation.. we do not welcome chinese lessons, english corner practice or business cold calling. Its just not the place for that. But there are locals who show and are part of the focus of activity and thats great! |
