Post subject: Parental code on bolt box
Seems I can't access some controls on my bolt box because the last tenant set the password. Any ideas on how to reset this?

Look up the model number online (or at least give it to us so we can do it for you, since that seems to be how you roll).

Sorry, assumed the hardware/software setup was somewhat similar for bolt boxes around town and this sort of problem came up often. Model is CDTV410 - did a search around the Web but couldn't find a master code to reset it.
