| Post subject: University/College Study in English |
I've been trying to find a university or college here where you can study in English. There seems to be quite a few that you can enroll in to study in Chinese or learn English - but I can't find a place to study IN english at the university/college level.
Any help would be appreciated. Or if there's already a sticky I couldn't find please post it again.
Cheers, |

Some have MBA's in English (Fudan, CEIBS), haven't really seen many other subjects (like Undergrad stuff) in English. Have seen SJTU has some in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. What is it you want to study? |

It seems even Fudan and SJTU require Level 5 HSK. Hard to believe that in a city this big there isn't demand for english courses and programs. I'm looking for something like an HRM or Business (but not MBA level) program. |

Some universities do HND courses (equivalent to 2 years undergraduate) in a variety of subjects including Business Management/Finance which 'should' be taught in English. Some also do GAC courses which are pre-college and taught in English. Or UKEAS in Xujiahui do 'A' level courses including Business and Economics)
Maybe write to china@edexcel.org.uk. You can get info on HND course in China from them or check www.edexcel.com for more details on HND |

You could re-try Fudan; there's some English taught non MBA programs there as well.
That do not require level 5 HSK.

If you are looking to study Bachelor degree programs (in English), then there are quite a number of offshore Bachelor degree programs in many cities in China. These are conducted in English mostly, getting you a Bachelor degree from the foreign university (UK, US, Australia).
I've taught business courses in a few of them - most universities in Shanghai have them, but finding out which Dept/Faculty to contact is difficult. Most of these are teaching Business or IT degrees - but there are occasionally some others.
I've taught them before at Jiaotong, SIFT, Lixin, Commerce School, ECNU, Foreign Studies Uni - often in partnership with private operators too, such as CSCollege, Informatics, MDIS, HKICE, Raffles.
I know that many Australian universities have a program in Shanghai - UTS, CSU, Melbourne, Macquarie. |

Hi All,
Thanks for all the info. I'm trying to track down Misteral's suggestion now. I've looked into Fudan again - primarily majors based on China although one medical one as well.
Bigroh73 thanks for your suggestions and will follow-up!
Any more info is welcome - I knew someone had to know something about this! |

Hi, I am in exactly the same situation, did you have any luck finding courses? Im looking into degree programs taught in English in fields of Business, Finance, Politics or International Relations, let me know what you find.
Are there many places that offer these courses part-time also because I am going to juggle work with study.
Thanks in advance for your help! |
