Hey, I figured out how to get back most of the channels that I lost, I just played around with the settings on my remote- so I got many channels back!

I still am missing some of the very important ones to me though, just not all of them. Still unhappy and feeling ripped off.

You have a pirate box and are not paying subscriptions to Dream TV and feel ripped off? Multiply that by perhaps over a million people then you can understand how Dream TV feel.

THe other channels will also go off later on in July to the newer encryption. IF they are that important you can buy a genuine decoder.

HBOCN sold you a pirate box knowing that the encryption would be changing. So ask them for a refund.

Yes, I do feel ripped off. I did not know that HBOCN are pirates, of course I do know that now but most people have 20/20 hindsight.

How do we know that you are legitimate SatelliteTV?

Sat tv worked or still works for Bensports, which, upto recently was broadcast on dream tv... have been using his systems without a problem for years... you can also check with bensports directly after you have bought the box from sat tv and check who it is registered too!

And no I am not paid by Sat tv to write this... just a happy customer.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO HBOCN !! SCAM SPOTTED !

An advice from a customer.

I settled 2700 rmb for one year of tv satellite in order to catch foreign channels.

I has been working well for... 1 week. Then the satellite box they provided me just blew up. To testify of their poor service, they of course don't want to provide me a new box. So they proposed me to pay for a new box, i accepted the deal because of course i had no choice.

It has been now almost 8 weeks i am waiting for their "engineer" to come over to set up the new satellite box, i call them everyday without any answer.

If i can tell 3 words about HBO :
- SCAM
- SCAM
- SCAM

Joey.

You may want to call Jie from Dream sat instead.

My Sat TV had black screen.. Didnt know what to do so called Jie and her engineer come the following day. Turned out that my router was messed up. Works fine now and enjoyed F1 race yesterday

I hope so after I came over last week to Shekou and fixed the bodgy job the installer did on your 2.4m Thai dish. We got your signals up by 25% lol
Too bad they used an offset lnb on a Prime focus dish when I left a new Prime focus LNB there which the plonkers of course stole. Saying it didnt work. F...tards

So now you have one Dream TV and 4 THAI DSTV And 1 DSTV only box you have a few channels to show.

You have 25 sports channels and watch re-runs of Crashcar?

Actually you were watching live on ESPN DSTV but just didnt know...

NASCAR some races are live Sunday night or Monday morning in China. Mr. Green

Hi Guys, I just moved into this new home last week, which has an XSatellite too. The landlord doesn't know anything about it since the former tenant had installed it. I just played with it and managed to get many channels, including BBC World News. After a day I couldn't view BBC World any more and it says conditional access not supported or something similar. I'm getting many other channels but I like BBC World very much. I read in some website that just on 16 June BBC World has moved to Nagra 3 system. Is that why I can't watch it any more? What exactly should I do to be able to watch it again. I don't even know which company did the satellite for this home, or whether or not the system is fake or genuine. I'm new to satellite systems and don't know much about it. Can anybody give me instruction on how to get BBC World back? Cheers!

You can ask around. It's not like I am unknown. I have always provided legitimate Dream TV decoders in China. Just read through all the satellite threads. None of my customers lost any channels at all as they all bought legitiamte decoders for Dream TV.

I also provide DSTV and THAI satellite subscription cards as well. You can tell from the cards if they are original or not. They have the providers logos on them and a smart card number on the sim card side.

I also have a website with all the TV channel guides and other information. Maybe you could visit it. www.taiwansatellite.tv

Okay I just looked at your website and I am confused. The English is terrible and you don't have anything in conversion prices. So with that said my new landlord has just offered to purchase us a satellite dish. We would like one that allows us to have the following channels: Animal Planet, History, A&E, Crime and Investigation, Star Movies etc. Could someone please post a reputable supplier, contact details and an approximate price. Thank you very much.

The English is terrible. I must get my English teacher to learn me better then.

If you read through the threads you can get the genuine Dream TV decoder with 12 months subscription for rmb3050 delivered to your home. If you need a dish installed as well that is extra. So you would be looking at around rmb4000 for a complete install.

All the channels except A&E ( whats this channel? ) are available.

Okay Satellite TV, I am going to give your number to my landlord......you are on the up and up right? Wink Don't worry about A&E it is not that important. However I NEED Animal Planet, and C&I (crime and investigation) channels. This is non negotiable!! LOL!! One last thing and that is what is your contact number? I need to give this to my landlord so that he can phone and order through you. When I looked on your site there is only an email address and some Taiwan numbers. If you could get back to me today, it would be greatly appreciated. One more question and that is we are moving in on July 31, will it ready and operating by then?

He can get you an original decoder and do your install. 13764666428

I need Animal Planet too. Nothing like watching crocodiles having beef burgers and scruffy little cheetahs. NatGeo is my backup channel.

Hi Jolynne, thanks for that offer much appreciated. I will be in Shanghai around 18 July so perhaps we can meet up. I'll be running my system when at Sashas on their wireless some nights and weekend so would be happy to show you what it is when I am there.

Regards

Jim

If you have no signal perhaps you have a storm or perhaps there is a typhoon over the uplink facility at Clark. Or you have a failed LNB on the dish or a cut cable.

Dream TV is still running.

So what the heck does HBOCN offer other than Dream? What's that package they call their own HBOcn offer?

Satellite Source 134.0°E Apstar 6

Seems like CBsat combined with others. If so... the CBsat feed pirated as well?
I don't care about the others as long as I can get CBsat.

Yes pirated. So take your choices.... buy a pirate system but do not complain if it goes offline at anytime. . It's cheap so you can afford to throw away your gear if it goes down.

The providers in China like CBTV that own the content rights are aware of pirate systems. It has happened that when pirate dealers are raided the computers are siezed and all the pirate customers are then traced. Not a nice thing to happen in CHina. After all you are connecting on a tracable ADSL account.

If you hack a foreign satellite nobody cares.
