Oh dear. What a huge shame for the little one and brave of you to take them on.
Try this vet:

Changning district. Tel: 5254 0611
After Hours Emergency: 13816685486

ALSO TRY
St. Anthony
440 Hami Road, Changning District
Tel: 3208 2880

All the best.

Adrienne

Too late now, but couldn't you tie the umbilical cord with a piece of string?

Hi there,
Just checking to see if the puppy made it through the night. Okay first things first. The puppy needs milk and it has to be special puppy formula from a can. This can be bought from PAWS, ST. Anthony's, City Shop in DingXiang Lu, and the Doggy House. Are you willing to bottle fed? Bottle feeding requires round the clock feedings approximately every 2-3 hours. Keep the puppy in a towel in a box and make sure that he or she is kept warm. Like babies, puppies and kittens cannot regulate their body temperatures. It will also need to go to the vet for a checkup. If you need any more help or you are unable to care for the puppy please send us an email at shanghaidogs@gmail.com

On a different note yesterday we went to buy furniture and while we were doing that I could hear constant mewing and crying so my husband and I went to find the source. After 20 minutes of digging through the trash we found 4 kittens and 1 had already passed away. Since we are swamped with animals and have absolutely no bottle feeders let alone foster parents we had a tough decision to make. We scooped them up and took them to the vets to have them humanely euthanized. It is a sad thing but we just don't have the facilities or staff to care for all of these poor animals.........If you need help please contact us, we will do what we can for you.

That's sad. But sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do.
When I first arrived at our compound 3 years ago, I quickly discovered an emaciated mother cat trying to feed 6 kittens. They were living next to the security at the gate, but the guys there did not have a clue.
I caught the four sickest kittens, suffering from serious diarrhea, weeping eyes, lice, etc. Took them to Paws, via metro, who euthanazed them without hesitation.
Cost big time, but they were really suffering.

The good news after that was people from our compound took to caring for the remainder, and now have a healthy little cat population, and the guys on the gate have also learnt how to care for them.

Unfortunately "tip of the iceburg" here.

thanks for the posts. but unfortunately, the puppy passed away yesterday. I called a vet that morning for some help, she also told me to tie up the birth cord, but after i doing so, the puppy started to have a bleeding nose...and couldnt get over it. that's really sad,i thought it's discarded because of congenitally deficient. I have tried my best...

Hi Zfy,
Please accept my condolences on the puppy. Just the fact that you stopped and took her home and tried is the absolute best thing anyone could have done for her. Bless you!!!
