MOS Burger is a Japanese burger chain. MOS stands for Mountains, Ocean, Sky - supposedly a lucky place to be when you can see all three at the same time, like say when you are in the vicinity of Mt. Fuji. Not such good burgers though.
The real question is when will Wendy's get here. |

China is not ready for "in N out Burger"........
Burgers are just too good. There would be rioting in the streets. |

I have contacted Wendy's International division and offered to finance and open 10 stores for them as a test in China as recently as about 3 weeks ago but so far no answer. Hope they do something here soon. |

The signature MOS burger is a burgerholic's wet dream. Juicy, delicious and prepared hygienically. I'm a big fan of their Natsumi burgers which omits the bulge-inducing burger buns in favour of fresh crunchy lettuce.
Not sure if the health standards here are good enough for this Japanese chain tho. |

Loved MOS Burger in Taiwan. They have a vegetarian burger that is second to none. |

MOS burger is quite big in Singapore but still lags behind those 3 bigger brands in all ways. Even yoshinoya isn't doing fantastic in China. Seems like Japanese chains aren't florishing in China. Even the more popular Sushi restaurants here are started by Chinese or Chinese celebs. Not surprised MOS burger is going to take many more years to come to China, if at all. |

Maybe it is the food rather than the fact they are Japanese. Saizeriya, the Japanese chain of Italian style food has only been open since December 2007 in China and they appear to be growing very fast in several Chinese cities. |

Agree, no way China could handle the In N Out burger right now. Social harmony would be lost. But I do think it is time for a Wendy's to open up very discretely. |

I will personally visit all 10 of your new Wendy's stores...and if one is close enough to me, I'll be a regular. I hope they get back to you soon. |

^^Best of luck with that. Wendy's is my favorite of the big three, and I'm sure I speak for a lot of people who'd like to see you succeed. |

What about America's Popeyes? I especially like their scones with thick-smeared jam. Not to mention the spiced cajun fries + red beans and rice . |

You guys got me interested in the MOS burger. I have never been much of a burger eater, but on my next Japan trip I will try one. Thanks for the heads-up. |
