| Post subject: Pet Food in Shanghai |
Our family just arrived in Shanghai and our pets are due this week. We are relocating from Houston, TX. We bought Holistic Select (Eagle Pack) which contained Salmon, Sardines, Rice, etc. Our dog Romeo has food allergies and we have only visited our local supermarket and pet store which have very limited selection. Are there any pet stores in Shanghai that imports pet supplies? Or stores that would have a better selection of brands like Science Diet, etc? Thanks!! |

Some pet supply shops carry Royal Canin. Where do you live? On Weihai Lu and Dagu Lu (so either side of Top of City complex) are stores that carry Royal Canin. Otherwise, you should be able to get it from a Vet's office, like PAWS |

You can get almost everything on www.taobao.com (a bit like ebay but fix-priced).
There are many threads about taobao on this forum but best if you ask a Chinese friend to help you with that.
I buy my cat food there. Not only large range of products (also imported stuff) but cheaper than supermarket. Delivery is cheap, too. |

Barbara from Bark Shanghai orders and delivers dog food through her company...www.barkshanghai.com. We use only ProPlan for our labs and she orders it and delivers it to us in Pudong. She is on Puxi side. She's also a great groomer and will pick-up and deliver your dog(s) back to you, after grooming, as well. Her email is barkshanghai@gmail.com.
