Thanks Phat... good points!
Its like having a telephone - if just one person uses it - it is no good. If everyone uses it, it becomes extremely valuable. The more people who participate, the more valuable this board and web site will be. Logins are free and you don't have to display your email address. There is even a private messaging system once you logon. So check it out! |

Whats up! Neo. Hey, I am totally agreeing with your suggestion. It is crucial to leave your identity, so people on BBS will get to know the certain person even more. Since computer technology is now the modern way of communication, we should all introduce ourselves, so everyone here will get to know each other even more easily.
Well, here, I will introduce myself. Hello everyone! I am Yukichichiri <-- abviously a nickname. My real name is Jennings. Currently in Canada, I moved here from Shanghai in 1993. Long time ago.. I miss Shanghai tremendously. It is great knowing this place actually exist, because it is pretty difficult to find an exact suitable place to communicate with people who are from the same place where I was from. It is great to knowing that people are having fun here. Well, have a great day!

You know, we really try to provide a place online that has good solid content about Shanghai for foreigners. Just before I came, the only thing I could find that was half way decent was Shanghai-ed. New arrivals - especially those moving here go through the questions, culture shock and frustrations of making way in a new city in a new country with a new language. Please, the more folks who use thiis board participate, the better place it will be. Post questions, or if you are already a laowai with a few years in the big city, post some of your observations, stories.. it will be worth it. |
