Got any ancient Chinese stories involving kiwifruit? In 5,000 years somebody must have used one to poison a despotic ruler, or a rival concubine, or something. . . Did Yang Guifei have people fetch them for her from Guangdong?

Wasn't it renamed to the Kiwi fruit by food companies because the word 'Chinese' wasn't particularly in vogue at that point in time?
