Post subject: musicians wanted, open mic night

Hello Hello,

I am looking for anybody interested in getting to gether for a jam/open mic each monday of the week in my bar. Its unpaid, ill buy a few drinks you get to use high quality sound gear, some of the best in shanghai.

I currently have four westerners that come in and do their stuff, i dont care where your from, i fyo have a instrument and or a voice then let me know and away we go.

and you will need to bring your own instruments, but just jack in and play

the current people are playing peral jam, goo goo dolls, chisel, green day etc, there is no set genre i am after, i just want to see a group of people having a good time with the decent equipment i have.

Thre not on this monday but starting agian on the 7th you can come and check it out if you think you are keen.

According to the post subject, Luke was asking for MUSICIANS - not people who can halfway operate their iPod while wearing their headphones upside down (let's leave out the sunglasses at night indoors thing just for the moment).

Why not save that sort of stuff for any of the 15 billion half-arsed dance clubs in Shanghai that already have that sort of tripe masquerading as entertainment?

located 72 tongren lu, redbeat music bar. Hooker free and talking girl free, just me there to give people the shits. Bluebag your a star mate, but dub v i am always always always looking for guest DJs and currently looking for a resident sound tech/DJ so if you know of anyone with the skills send em my way. We dont do much hip trip hop house stuff, actually none, but i do have plans to do a night of that stuff in september so if your keen to get involved then come and speak to me.
