| Post subject: English Premier League Free on Chinese TV |
Guys,
Great news.....
The English Premier League is shown FREE on Chinese TV.
Over the weekend we had 3 live games on Saturday and 2 live games on Sunday.
It was on one of the sports channels available on normal Chinese cable or IPTV.
Ok the commentary was in Chinese but hey if you are at the match there's no commentary and just brush up on your mandarin.
Im afraid this will spell very bad news for dear old Mr Satellite and his ridiculously overpriced streaming. He was using the EPL as a cash cow to try to sell his streaming.
Well we dont need you so take your dishes off your roof and stick 'em up your fat Aussie backside.
Same with that crook Bensports stuff your subcriptions up your **** also.
So guys sit back and enjoy this 2009/10 season of the EPL for free on Chinese TV. |

Yes the standard Shanghai sports channel showed 5 live matches over the weekend. Of course still ended up watching my beloved Sunderland on a stream! |

Jzzzzzz,
I was dissapointed I couldn't get Portsmouth live. But hey if we were back in UK would we also have all these games live on a Saturday......for free???
If you cant get the Maxis footbal extra on ESPN/Star on a Sunday morning you can always got to a torrent site like the box or UKNova and download Match of The Day, Football Focus, Soccer AM.
Who needs that big mouth Aussie and his overpriced streaming???
We now dont even need to pay for pirated systems to watch the beautiful game.
Life is good |

Really? They did on Shanghai sports Channel? Will they continue to broadcast or is it just a rating test? |

What's with the hard-on you've got for Mr satellite??
It seems you've had a go at him in about 20 posts, telling people to stay away and that he's a rip off. Has he ripped you off, or given your wife a rogering on the side to upset you so much?
I've seen dozens of Mr Satellite posts this year, and from what I've seen he has generally provided info on the different services he offers when people have asked, and is also willing to let people know what other services are available through different providers if they want to go elsewhere.
Jes dude, if you think he's a rip off then don't use his services, otherwise it's time to STFU and get over it! |

I have been looking through these threads. I am considering the IPTV from Satellite TV. I need my Sky News and British TV content which I have tried and it works from Satellite TV.
I have sent a few pm's asking why they think this chap is ok or not. So far nobody has said he ripped anybody off and those that responded have bought Dream TV decoders from him and never had problems.
Has anybody bought his IPTV systems? I tried it for a couple of days and it works as advertised. I travel around so being able to watch it anywhere is also a bonus. Cost.... well yes not cheap.... but cheaper than 2 nights in any bar with filthy smoke disturbing my nostrils.
Plus I am a Liverpool supporter so being in a bar at 3am for Champions League is not possible. Especially displeasing is Liverpool losing all the time. |

Rocket Science, we use IPTV from Satellite TV. It is a very good service. We live have lived in Shanghai for over 6 years now, and can say I am pleased with his service. We have a China telecom 4mb line (it has China IPTV but we have not hooked it up) and our streaming of all the Satellite TV service is genrally between 1.5 to 2mb. Only problem at times is the China Telecom ADSL.
We will be travelling to the US shortly and I will watch the TV streaming there. This is the great thing about this service. |

Hi Vinya thanks for your reply. I almost signed up for the wrong service from shanghai IPTV who I see offer a similar system but it seems to crash often when I have been at a bar a few months ago theirs crashed one weekend then another weekend so I had to leave for the Big Bamboo to watch cricket and F1. So I was sceptical that this streaming service would work.
I am going to sign up with Jim as his staff are always online to answer questions.
Jim was able to remote login to my pc and do some cleanup and then install the hava and get it running. It's a bit weird watching someone else logged into your pc and set everything up.
Yes I am also getting from 1.5mb to over 2mb on the stream and it's quite surprising how good it is. I did look at getting Dream TV and Jim told me to contact Jie for that but it doesnt have what I want to watch.
Thankfully there are choices around. Jim also said this service can watch anywhere in the world so thats another bonus because when I am back home in the UK there are no 3pm football games on TV so I can watch from my HAVA system. |
