@ everyone,

i unplugged my pirate dream box since 3 months ago and never try to turn it on again. Now that i have confirmation that i am staying in Shanghai, i am wondering if that pirated channels are back or still out of service?

If not, whats the cheapest service available now for pirated channels? i need MTV (preferably singapore's), Travel n living, CNN, those sport channels that shows NBA games, discovery channel. HBO would be a great plus.

Thanks.

The best way now to pirate TV is to buy a pair of binoculars and watch your nearby neigbours building. Mr. Green

Just buy the cheap genuine Dream TV decoder from Jie she posts as shanghaidream.

Or you could try the pirated Taiwan satellite... Original only costs US$185 per year though.

You need to pirate something that only costs US$185 per year for a genuine subscription? No idea what pirated systems cost.

Channel list below click on the channel icon to go to each channels website

Of course being for Taiwan it is CHINESE language content except for a couple of channels. AXN Taiwan is free from this satellite anyways so no pirate box or pirate card required.

WARNING! Here's a sattelite tv installer to avoid at all costs!! His name is Lin Jia Wei. He works for a company called Shanghai Tong Cheng Tong Xun She Bei You Xian and he's a straight-up crook! He came to my place and, claiming he was just "testing for a signal", set up a dish. When I told him I was still shopping around, he insisted that I had "commited" to not only use him, but to purchase the most expensive package they had! I was stunned, but, even worse, when I refused to pay he physically threatened my whole family!!
