Post subject: Thyroid and Stilnox

Dear all,

We will be moving from Australia to shanghai soon and are wondering:

1. are there australian / local doctors who can do regular Thyroid checkups after we move to Shanghai?

2. assuming yes for 1, what are the channels to get Thyroid medication?

3. For Stilnox, does it need any prescription to get it? Is yes, do we need to go to any particular kind of doctors to get the prescription?

Thanks

Tom

Our pharmacy has Levothyroxine 50 and 100 mcg. It is a prescription med. We do accept foreign prescriptions. Many hospitals in Shanghai have docotors speak well English, such as Parkway Health, Shanghai East International and Huashan Hospital. I am sure you can find one to check your thyoid level.
