I have just spoken to Jie and she's just as frustrated as we are. She has managed to contact Philsat ( they have spoken twice today) who have advised that they will need another couple of days to fix the technical problem. So lets just hang in there and see what happens. |

Why does such a technical problem take more than 2 days to fix.? Do the technical people at Dream actually know what the problem is. I'd like to know what it is.
I can handle one or two days without it - but its been more than 2 days now.
I know Jie is trying her best, but these people at Dream in the Philippines seem to be doing their best to lose a few customers who actually purchased their genuine system. |

Jie rocks.
Mine is back up and she has been extremely helpful.
Try another provider- they'll tell you nothing and ignore you... nothing but thanks from me. |

Technical problem is cheating. The truth is financial problem of Philsatcorp. |

Yes - but you are a direct competitor with a fancy website - so of course you would say anything.
FYI - my 'genuine' dreambox came back online around midnight - working fine now. After three huge typhoons within a month in the Philippines - i'm not surprised there are some technical issues. I'm just glad its back working now.
Thanks for the support/updates Jie. |

I also contacted Jie by PM and she gave me very good reply. Although I did not use her service as I did not want Dream TV I found her to be very honest.
Thanks to Jie I got a reliable IPTV service from another reliable provider.
I would recommend anybody to use Jie should they need Dream TV as she has great English and many expats I know are very happy with her services. |

Hi - I have also gotten apparently ripped by Philsatcorp. Can those who know Jie give me her contact number - it would be nice to work withsomeone who is IN Shanghai and responds. My advice to anyone is be cautious about Philsatcorp until things clarify and they prove that they will continue in business. |

I've the legit Crystal box and paired card purchased around the time when they were first offered by Jim [SatelliteTV] and Philsatcorp when DREAM Satellite www.dream.com.ph, first announced migrating to Nagravision3.
The system had worked well for the first year. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the second year. Several times in the past couple of months (since renewing 1 year subscription in August 2009) many DREAM channels have been scrambled with only the free to air, TV Maria, Living Asia, and Deutsch channels received. Twice after contact with the agents (Jim [SatelliteTV] & Jie [Shanghaidream]) transmission to the scrambled channels have been restored, albeit after transmission loss for 4-5 days.
This past week though, the commercial channels (paid) have remained scrambled for 7 days.
WTF is going on?
(I'm posting this in all DEAM related threads so others can be informed) |
