Post subject: Best Fake Book Sellers

Just thought I'd share some recommendations on fake book sellers.

The guy who sells from a trunk outside Cantina Agave always has good titles, likewise the woman who is sometimes at the junction of Anfu and Wulumuqi in the daytime, beside the crockery seller.

Also, a couple of the DVD shops on Dagu Lu sell them.

One of the best I've found is on Kaixuan Lu near Caoyang Lu Metro station on Lines 3 & 4. He also sells bed linen which is useful.

It's so wrong that it's right, right?

Those book sellers always seem to have the same tat- management books full of buzz-words, Twilight, and Sookie Stackhouse.

This is true, but if you can wade beyond those (and endless copies of that goddamn "Marley & Me" tripe) there are some gems. I recently picked up The Kite Runner, The Joy Luck Club, Amsterdam by Ian McEwan, The Gathering by Anne Enright, and some fluffy fun reads like Girls of Riyadh and Love Story.

C'mon James, stop acting all tough. You know you cried at the end of The Lake House.
