Post subject: Has Melrose pizza hit rock bottom??? Rant mode

They home delivered me what is without a hint of a doubt the worst buy-one-get one pizza in the history of "expats in china being able to order some pizza"

The Pepperroni pizza you get for free doesn't even remind you of a pizza it looks like this ( imagine drawing an out of scale pizza the size of a basketball court on a white sandy beach and on each slice drop a 10 cm diameter coconut to represent the pepperoni )

A hot south american pizza, i gotta admit i don't know what it tates like before ordering it but i'm 100% positive what they delivered wasn't hot south american pizza. it takes like soap and has no sign of south americaness.

Seriously what the bleep is wrong with Melrose pizza, i actually think they're doing a conscious, deliberate planned-out effort to displease customers.

because there's no way in hell you can make such evil tasting pizza accidentally.
I'm not being sarcastic or anything but the pizzas were so bad i only ate a half slice of each pizza.

i know some people will actually order some melrose just to prove me wrong. this complaint is not a defiance to anyone i wish i've read something similar about them before ordering from them.
this is an honest rant from a pissed off customer who has no one else to complain to.

if someone from Melrose will read this: here's my question, how in the world can you still be in business? do you have a side business other than making pizzas that keep you going?

PHEW!!!!!!!!! God what a relief....alright i'm out.

If you are so disappointed in their pizza then why didn't you call them and tell them?

I am sure a lot of interesting answers to your question will be posted Very Happy

Weird, I had some of their pizza via Harleys and it wasn't that bad. It wasn't good either but not that bad.

^And that was after how many beers at Harley's?
And did you notice all the waitresses started to look pretty darn good also?
Very Happy

Only 3 by the time the pizza arrived, and 2 more by the time we finished it, pretty tame by my standards. I'm definitely not saying the pizza was good, just not... THAT bad. =)

And the waitresses there didn't look good at any point during that night. =P

The pizza I ordered from Melrose 2 years ago was (and still is) the worst pizza I've ever had. I've never been back. As a previous poster mentioned, it appears that they hit rock bottom quite a while ago, and have maintained their position.

To think of how far this type of trash falls from Wooster Street. Being wasted or famished really helps if you must eat this kind of garbage.

Melrose is a lump of dough covered in sour cheese with a few tough bits of stale meat chucked over it. That's all.

I made the mistake of ordering Melrose Pizza once... Worse than generic microwave pizza, wouldn't feed it to my dog.

usually comprises synthetic bread-effect base, topped with tomato ketchup, a layer of yellow rubber, and pinkbits cut out of a rubber ball.

I like the Harleys comment, I had pizza there from Melrose and it was much better than the **** they serve in Jingan. Each different location has someone making ingredient decisions. As long as those **** don't put corn and cucumbers on it, I'm good....
