Post subject: Video Games in Shanghai...

Was looking to pick up some of the recent releases. Modern Warfare 2 and Dragon Age. I've checked out the comic mall on Nanjing Road but they didn't have any of those titles.

So to my fellow gamers... where can I pick up the goods?

Anyone tried ordering from www.play-asia.com ? HK company, they import from all over the world. My friend bought from that page a couple of times but that was when I was in Sweden. Not sure if it works well when in China.

I've tried Play-Asia a couple of times. They are reliable... meaning the item will get delivered to you... but as for how long it will take that varies. I've had to wait from 2 weeks to 1 month but I'm also choosing the cheapy fee delivery option.

I'm looking for a store in Shanghai where I can get instant gratification. Looking for all platforms... I'm a PC guy and a multi-console user. And the RROD is no joke. I'm on my third Xbox.

PC try torrents, "legal" copies don't exist here. Dragon Age is nice, but gets repetitive overtime. PC ver is the most entertaining haven't tried the console ver. but multiplayer is where its at for this genre, and lag issues in China via ps3/xbox?

Play-asia is a popular and reliable source, or if you are up for it, haggle and find it in SH, there are places that have certain games, just have to look for them, taobao has them as well, I've bought several reliable copies of ps3 games off them, GTA4, UFC, Last Guy.

They sell legit PS3 games here in most bigger video game stores! There is a store on Beijing Lu close to Changde Lu that carries most recent and popular PS3 games! They already have Modern Warfare 2 for PS3!

I suggest Taobao, I bought Empire: Total War from there recently, will buy Dragon Age also after some time. Seems to me that buying online is the only option to buy PC games, since there are no real copies in English in any normal shops in China.
For the Taobao shop details, PM me.
