Whooohoooo.
I am already getting excited. The race happens in exactly 5 days.
If I could post pictures I would post some of the babes from the Melbourne race but for some reason I can't.
Anyhow....any predictions? |

Fiddler showed up on Sunday? Wow...i had already left before he even arrived.
The place we are thinking of having breakfast is Kommune Cafe.
It is lane 200 Tai Kang lu, right near my house. They have a thing on sunday, a couple eggs, toast, beans, potatos, bacon and a bloody mary for 48 kuai. Its not bad.
Timetable for Sunday....looks like we could even watch qualifying if we get started early enough...like breakfast at 9:30am. The question is where we want to watch the race...ie. who has the best deals.
Qualifying 11am
Race start 3pm
Fiddler do you think you can be up by 3pm this time? |

I would say that too if the only thing I'd be able to pull would be money out of an ATM machine |

You are still jealous that I didn't bid on you aren't you Fiddler.
I can't remember, what did I get if I bid on you? Was it a dinner or anything?
Either way....1000 kuai and a jug of beer at the Beaver is a fantastic deal. |

Yes, Breakfast at Kommune. Great deal, great location, and they have coopers for 25rmb each.
I think B.B was good last time. There again?

how about breakfast at 10-1030. Do we really need to see all of the qualifying? 930 seems a bit early... |

God I hope so. That place has class, shouldn't you just stick to Kangaroo and Eager Beaver. |

Well, whether we need to watch all the qualifying really depends on how it the first qualifying session pans out on the Saturday. I guess we can withhold judgement until then.
But qualifying is often more exciting than the actual race. |

MMM - the Guv has spoken. Maybe you can redeem yourself Sunday!!! If you behave early, and Webber wins, you are welcome to the free beer at Senses.
Also, of course you are welcome to come in and spend up big anytime you wish. |
