Are there any Mac or Linux users groups in Shanghai? I know Beijing has a Mac user group, but couldn't find anything for Shanghai on Google.

Where does one buy Mac software in Shanghai? I am looking for Office for Mac and, of course, games.

Hi Tim,
There is a Mac users group called Shanghai Mac User Group contact Gary (actasia@mountainsongs.net) That info could be found in the expat mag called 8 days. You can buy mac stuff in Hong Kong Plaza, on Hua Hai Lu, there are two mac stores there. It is in the same building as Hong Kong Plaza Hotel.

Shanghai by Robin Zhang and his team at Atomix Tech. This software so
attracted the attention of Steve Jobs, that he invited the Atomix Tech
team
to MacWorld in San Francisco last month and provided Jetphoto with a
booth
to introduce this new and powerful software.

You can also buy a large variety of Mac software in XiangYang Market at booth A-72. Negotiate hard as it's all quality stuff!

Anyway, SMUG (http://s9.invisionfree.com/SMUG) and SLUG exist in Shanghai.
