| Post subject: Summer in Shanghai for kids 5 and 7 |
We will be spending the summer in Shanghai with our kids 2, 5 and 7 for the first time. Does anyone know of any good summer programs for English speaking kids to gain exposure and possibly learn the Chinese language and culture? A well balanced program that would also include other organized activities such as music, dance, swim or other sports instructions would be ideal. Any information/recommendations or experiences that you would like to share is most appreicated. |

A lot of expat kids leave Shanghai during the summer so there may not be too many programs or camps on offer.
I am only aware of Active Kidz which organise camps (don't think there is much Chinese culture component) which include a variety of activities.
Other organisations may start advertising their camps in the next couple of months.
Hope this helps. |

Thanks for the reply. Do you know the wed address or other contact information for Active Kidz? Where do most organizations advertise their camp activities? |

Last year I saw some advertisements in the usual expat publications (That's Shanghai etc) regarding kids summer holiday activities. |
