Post subject: Recreational Basketball

hi all,

Are there anybody here who likes to play basketball say on a weekly basis? Or is there already something like that going on in this forum?

Please let me know where you guys play and when.

If there isn't, are there anybody willing to start a weekly recreational basketball session?

Cheers
rolento

I'll also play, depending on time in location. A location in Pudong would be easier for me.

Anybody that wants to play live in Yanlord Garden (Pudong) or have access? I just ran by their courts and they looked pretty good.

Guys should we try to organize the first match and see what happens? Until we try to make it happen, it won't happen, be it a small 2x2 or only 3 people experience or otherwise...

cyfox am in pudong too, name time and place and I'll be there....

have some serious fat to burn...

Ok, let's just designate a time and place. Unfortuanately, I haven't seen any public courts in Pudong yet and no one has responded that they live in Yanlord. Why don't we play Wednesday nights at 7:30pm at the first public courts in Pudong that someone finds?

Along DongFang Rd. Not many play there.

Cyfox, can you tells us approximately where it is on Dongfang Road (is it close to the Dongfang subway stop?) and do they have lights? If so, let's all meet there next Wednesday night at 7:30pm.

ah... nope, it does not have spot lights. It would be real dark after 1800 usually.

How many can play during the day? I can usually on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.

I'm very willing to play. Haven't played ball since leaving Canada two weeks ago and I'm really dying to get back into playing shape. Whoever is organizing this please PM me or email me at luis_0218@hotmail.com with details. Any time is alright with me.

Also, this is my second time in Shanghai and I gather that the courts in Xujahuei are pretty decent but often full at night.

Thanks!
