I have also had some problems logging onto MSN for quite a few months. I am using Wireless GPRS with China Mobile.
I gave up a long time ago. |

Hm... thanks for the replies. For those of you who do not know: MSN messenger always uses the proxy settings in I.E. That is to say, if your I.E. has some proxy settings either in LAN connection part or any dial-up, VPN connection, MSN by default uses those settings. If your proxy is not working anymore or that the network condition has changed (you are not inside of your co. ), remember to clear the proxy settings. |

it happened to me sometimes.. could do nothing but to wait.. sometimes restarting computer would help but sometimes not.. and actually it happened too sometimes too when I was in the US.. so i am not in panic anymore when it happens as i know it would always come back. |

MSN's ok .. if only I could figure out how to access my Yahoo mail .... instead of a blank page that says 'done' at the bottom but loads nothing .... |

Or try logging in manually... (re-entering your username & password), there's a slight bug in the messenger that doesnt make you log in if you sign in automatically using the stored user name & password.
If that fails, reinstall your MSN messenger, I believe it's just software glitch...
PS: If those two doesn't work, forgive me for the hassles |

Interesting point. I'm facing the same thing cyfox.
If not mistaken you are in Pudong right?
Wondering if there is anything related to network infrasctructure in Pudong v Puxi. Am aware that net speed in Pudong and Puxi is pretty different...
Anyway...
The problem comes and goes...which is annoying... |
