Same thing. Just need username and password. Your iBook is pretty much equipped for such needs.

By the way: Valley Gourmet, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and Tima Harbour all offer free wireless connections. You wouldnt even need china telecom or unicom thingy in those places.

I vote for a boycott in non wireless free places.

Do you mind to post some of the addresses of the above for those of us who don't know where these places are?
Thx. Smile

Starbucks charges Wi-Fi (well CTC). Let's move Saturday Cofee Meeting to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf!!!!

I like the coffee there better than starbucks....

There are 3 Coffee Beans. The one I've been to is close to People's Square, in Fuzhou Lu, one block away from Raffles City.

The sandwiches and pasta are not that bad either (although they are not quality restaurant standard).

I'm with Lucky: move coffee meeting to Coffee Bean, that's a no brainer.

As for ValleyGourmet, it's in Nanjing Xi Lu, one of the entrances to Shimen 1 Lu Subway Station, in front to Starbucks.

It's pretty good too.

Tima Harbour: been only to the ZhengNingLu x ChangLeLu one. The pies there are pretty good too.

I agree with all the above posters. I don't know the trading standards Coffee Beans has with it's suppliers (and consequently the laborers actually picking the beans), but it must be better than Starbucks. Not to mention, Starbucks coffee tastes burned.

I'd be in if the "Saturday coffee meet" was moved to another locale.
