Post subject: Joint China, ROK and Japan History book published

And it's titled "History that creates the future." WTF?

Certainly, such a project needs to be done. But what of the title? To me, it speaks of Revisionism 101. Anyone have a copy yet?

History textbook jointly compiled by China, ROK and Japan published

The history book "History that creates the future", jointly compiled by scholars from China, ROK and Japan and is aimed to correct Japan's distortion of history by textbook was published May 25.

In March 2003 non-government organizations and historians from China, ROK and Japan came to a decision to compile a modern history textbook that can be used by high school students in the three countries. After having dozens of conferences the compiling committee consisting of 23 ROK scholars, 17 Chinese scholars and 14 Japanese scholars finally solved the problem in how to state the disputed history.

The joint compiling committee said in the book, "To create a bright future in East Asia, the joint efforts of scholars from the three countries have proved they can reach consensus on history while pay respect to their own understanding of history."

"... finally solved the problem in how to state the disputed history."

Such a bullshiet statement.
