I have been looking around for the underground scene. I have not found much! Although I have not had the time to really try that hard. It would be great to hit a rave sometime soon. I know there is a couple of underground bars that stay open until about 1200 noon and the music is pretty good. Let me know Queen and Rob about any plans. I would be willing to meet for something like this.

As for my age bracket I am 25. I worked for MTV in NYC for about a year. Trippy, rob and queen-my friend and I will be hitting the scene this friday(9/12) and saturday(9/13)- there is an expat party on Saturday night-I think they will playing house music- but for friday we will definitely be looking for the House bars and clubs-fill me on on what places you know of-and definitely e-mail me before then asap!!! my e-mail is josephcanaday@hotmail.com use MSN messenger as well, as I am online a lot-Keep the party going!!! joe

Have been here nearly a year now and still don't know of any decent places...I miss going to all nighters annd making 'friends' with people whilst having a heated discussion about the design shown on the front of a match box.. I'm up for it - thats if you can find somewhere unpretentious here...

I don't really no whats on this weekend but I'm out & about on Sat, But I also heard good things about Club La belle on Wednesday 17 the (next weds) from what i hear good music plus its happy hour all night long!!

oh man
i went to Tudali on friday night and drank a jug of vodka with 2 friends... then went to C's and drank some more... got pissed drunk, threw up... never drinkin so much again...
hahaha
but yeh lets go out one day yah

and after telling me you 'never threw up'....its all about quantity...

i would be well up for some serious house music, i miss english clubs!!! i am going to be part of a business arranging various parties, so if anyone has specific ideas or is a dj, then you can PM me, but nothing will happen for a while as the main man is in france for 2 months.........

Thanks guys for keeping this little enclave going- a week and a half and I can say that Shanghai has to have its rave scene aside from just the bars and clubs- I've heard two stories- one is that you can find just about anything here including raves and two-that raves are far and few and not easy to find. Being the optimist that I am I would say that there has to be something here-Its just going to take some time- Yeah, count me in if you are thinking of starting a production company- I've had the experience in Denver and NYC, not mention writing for an underground magazine in Denver. Keep me posted Its always good to share the capital expenses with other people------keep the party going and keep me informed.-

Dean-Quasi and anyone else- haven't heard much of anything- If and when I do I will definitely post- hopefully you guys wil do the same-went to some clubs that play some house-Dj's out here-from what I've seen play everything-I need house!!!
