I agree.

StoneSexyMan --> Since you are the only one here who volunteered to book courts, you decide when and where ok? I don't know about everyone else, but... I'll be there for sure!

Oh, and could you write the address here in "chinese" so that I can show the kind taxi man Wink

I am dark skinned and Canadian, I should be easy to recognize should we meet. Really easy!

So bad, why I just find this topic now!
I booked a court for tomorrow 1.30pm in my apartment area in puxi. I'm not a good player. Anyway, Cata and me will play here and if you guys want to join us, you are all welcome!

The apartment named "Da An Hua Yuan", Changshou rd., No.999, Jing An district. There's a badminton court here and it will cost us 24 rmb per hour.

I will play in weekday only. Weekend are for my husband and kids, hehe. If you want to join, just PM me, so, I will give you my telephone#. And that would be easier for you to sms me or let me tell the taxi driver for you how to get here.

Chinesegirl, I think you have my tel # already. You're also welcome to join us ^_^

Have a nice day everyone.

Oh man, I really want to go today to play with you Jill, but this morning I am seeing an apartment that I might rent for the next 3-6 months. I am not sure if I will be able to make it Embarassed I am really sorry for this. Hopefully, I will be able to play with you next time when I am more settled in (which should be soon).

Since I started spinning this web (and have only recently again checked in on it!), I realize that there are (thank goodness!) actually a few people interested in playing!
There will be a Special Interest Group here on Shanghai Expat starting shortly to make it easier to post when/where we can get together and play.
I'll keep you posted. I think a major organizing factor will be location: namely, Puxi vs. Pudong. I'll be pulling for the Puxi get togethers. Anyone to help organize the Pudong-ers? If so, please PM me. Thanks.

Great,Suamei. Waiting for your next 'badminton match' in Puxi. Count me and one foreign friend.
He always complain no partner to play badminton since I am not a good player.
If you want, we can try squash as well.

Post subject: Get those badminton racquets ready!

So far the ShanghaiExpatters below have shown interest in playing badminton.

If you want to get a group together (I'm still waiting to hear about setting up a SIG on this site), email me (ckellytx@yahoo.com) indicating:

1. your name
2. Puxi or Pudong preference
3. your playing level [1- Good to very good 2- Medium 3- Just beginning].
4. phone number
5. Preference for Morning or Afternoon/Evening

I will then email the compilation to everyone at their email addresses (not PM).

I am going to stick with playing in Puxi, so if you are a Pudong-er and are interested in organizing that, you can organize the other Pudong-ers.

Cheers!

P.S. StoneSexyMan: maybe we could all get together next Wednesday-- is that the Shanghai Stadium you refer to?
