| Post subject: Canada Day! |
Thats right! Canada Day is coming up, and even though the celebrations might not be the same as the market in Ottawa, theres got to be something going on July 1st. If anyone knows of any specific parties going on (I'm thinking maybe at Eager Beaver or Plan B) please post them here for everyone to see.
To be honest, I'm just looking for an excuse to get loaded and walk around town with nothing on but my Flag. And for all the other nationalities on the site, make sure to come out with us and keep the party going. Might as well do it right, and go all the way to July 4th, for the American Independence Day. I've got a feeling its going to be a good weekend.

I'll be in Beijing that weekend -- sorry to miss all the Canada Day plans!!!
But a four-day celebratory bender certainly sounds like a worthy way to commemorate the holidays! Hope you don't have to work the following week!!

Umm.. will the Canadian visa officers be there? I'd like the opportunity to have a face-to-face little chat with the arrogant turd that snapped at me as he walked past for checking the time on my cell phone, and then later told my gf that she was a liar.
Regards, Matthew |

Theres a chance that severe intoxication, nudity, and/or a healthy dose of inebriated madness would be inappropriate at this shindig. People might "frown upon" this type of behaviour.
-Skip "family friendly" and head to the Beaver. |

Bleucheese, I'm definately looking for something SANS-family. Seems like some bar hopping is going to be in need for the night. I'm not sure if its going to be the same if we're drinking the chinese pijiu, but as long as there is some Tragically Hip on the stereo i'll feel just like home. |

I have a feeling the Eager Beaver isn't exactly a canadian spot anymore, so I have to agree with the mulleted one above. But Canadian Rock? Hours and Hours of Alanis Morrissette? |
