hi,

can anyone give me an idea of what freight forwarding companies and how much it will cost to ship some goods from san francisco,california to shanghai,china ?

time is not critical. Cost is.

i used usps media mail for heavy books, about 75 bucks include insurance makes you worry about your stuff for 3 months. of course the box comes here lightly damaged.
try the yellowpage for asian international freight company in the bay area. there are tons and just make sure you pack your boxes really well.
