Post subject: DaMarco sucketh

Damn that was bad....
I went to Damarco next to HuaiHai and the place was really really bad, the sad part is that the other location I went to before was really good.
Food was horrible, bruchetta (sp??) was wet and soggy and tomatoes were old.
Gnochi with cheese had no cheese but lots of flour so it tasted like I'm bitting into old bread.
Steak was worthless.
Sefood pasta was decent but by that time I was tuning it out.
The bread sticks were soggy.

All in all never again.

You should go to the other one by Chiangsu lu area, I dont remember where it is.

However, both places deliver sh*tty service, it's like they cant wait long enough to pull me from the chair whenever I needed something.

Waitress seriously have some attitude disorders there (Italian attitudes??), but food is still good.

Hehe, I'm going to start giving all my directions in Wade-Giles too. That should be fun.

There is also a good Da Marco hidden in some kind of hotel/service-apartment block. This is REALLY good. Lots of Italian's there.

Cheers,

Adreno

Yep the other place in the service appt is really good, I went there first and was really positive on it.
Then I got to this one and wanted to throw up.

Reason is: The Boss is managign the one in the service apartment complex by himself and kicks his staff accordingly, thus good service and stable food quality. Advice: Next time you go to the good place, tell the boss that you were not happy at his other joint. I guess, Italian's are cocky enough to take this as an encouragement, instead as in insult.

Cheers,

Adreno
