Dino Beach wasn't too great. Used the old Chinese trick of charge entrance fee, then charge to use small tubes (necessary for certain slides) and large tubes (also necessary) and .....
The slides weren't very high, either.
Party sounds cool. I'm easier to please when drunk. |

Went there last Sunday. Take subway to Xinzhuang then a bus (763 or Xin Hua Xian). Stop at Gudai station (easy to spot with the big slides behind).
Entrance ticket is a big rip off. Basically it will cost you 150 yuan if you go there on Saturday or Sunday before 6pm. You pay 75 rmb after 6pm. Sunday is a Family day so parents can come with children below 1.5m and everybody pay 75 rmb.
That was just for the entrance. Once inside you need to pay 5 yuan to get a health certificate (this one is valid for all swimming pool around town). Then you need to add 40 rmb to get a locker (20 rmb serve as deposit) and a small plastic tube to put your money inside. You are not allowed to bring any food or drinks inside the park therefore you'll need some cash to buy drinks.
For more fun you can rent a big buoy. Will cost you 60 rmb for a one-seat one (again 30 rmb = deposit) or 80 rmb for a double one (40 = deposit)
Entrance prices change depending on the day. For example Wednesday is Hot Babes day. Girls pay 60 rmb and guys 120 rmb. Thursday is Cool Hunks day...
If price is not a problem, the Dino Park is a great way to escape the heat. Great also to bring kids. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was not as crowded as I expected. Maybe due to the steep ticket price. Nice slides - though not very big and a good sand beach to get this perfect tan. The place is relatively clean.
They have a website www.64783333.com |
