Lange has been one of the most consistent producers/remixers in the dance scene over the past few years.
After turning professional in October 1997, when signing to ADDITIVE RECORDS, Lange has enjoyed
phenomenal success. On numerous occasions Lange has tasted chart success most notably his remix of
DJ SAKIN- PROTECT YOUR MIND, which reached No. 4 in the UK sales chart. Other Lange remixes to enter the
UK Top 40 sales chart include, Agnelli and Nelson-Everyday, Atlantis Vs Avatar-Fiji, Faithless-Why Go,
Lost Witness-Happiness Happening and most recently; Eye To Eye- Just Can’t Get Enough and Ultra 5- Potion.
Lange`s own solo career has continued to build with the releases of "I Believe" in late 99 and the more recent single
"Follow Me;" which was heavily featured on the film "Kevin and Perry Go Large". Lange also produces
under the guise Firewall, his first track, "Reflections" is due for release in September 2001 and has already
received plays from Scott Bond and Tiesto.
Other projects include SUREAL, their first release "You Take My Breath Away" entered the UK charts at No 15
(September 2000) and saw SuReal perform a live PA at CREAMFIELDS. The follow up "Always On My Mind"
is due for release August 2001 and looks set to become an Ibiza anthem.
Last year saw Lange take the natural progression from production into the DJ booth. Lange had DJ’ed at Illusions (Finland),
Prototype (Coventry), 2x Mixmag Nights @ Quench (Coventry), Tranz@ction (Cornwall) and numerous others.
Other credits include a guest mix on Surf Radio (Brighton) and mixing the "Tranceformer 2000 CD" alongside Mauro Picotto.
This year Lange looks certain to cement his reputation as one of the hottest up and coming DJ talents. In addition to
his UK dates, Lange’s DJ diary includes International trips to Luners (Tokyo), return dates to Illusion (Finland)
and a proposed DJ tour of America. |
