| Post subject: Families with teenage boys in Pudong |
Hi all,
We are finally moving in to Pudong in August. Just wondering how many families living in the pudong area have boys in the 13 - 15 year age group. And where they go to school?
Thanks |

Hi there
I'm in Shanghai every summer only (July and August) with my two boys aged 13 and 15, from Canada. Don't know if your sons would like to meet mine? What are their interests?

Anastasia,
My wife and I + 4 kids (16, 15, 13, 9) will likely be moving to Shanghai in October. Have you made a school selection and if so, where did you end up enrolling the kids? If we make the move, we will look you up when we arrive. We had an orientation trip a week ago and nothing scared us away! So far the family is excited about the adventure. |

miamia,
I'm curious..if you don't mind, can you tell me why you are only in Shanghai in the summers? Is your husband here, but you stay back in Canada?
Reason I'm asking, my husband has accepted a job in Shanghai (great position for him), but we came over to visit, and I'm not that crazy about living in China (my apologies to all I've offended). We have two daughters, 16 years and 11 years. What we decided for the next year is, he will be in China, and we're staying home in the US.
Anyway, if that's your situation, I was wondering how it works for you. sorry for being off topic. Thanks! |

Our son is 14, we just moved to Pudong this summer, we lived in Puxi last year, and our son is going to continue with the same school in puxi, riding the subway. If your kids need a local tour guide (at least to find all the basketball courts!) let us know, we've been in China a few years now and he's near fluent. |
