that is not entirely true, it could be a white german shepherd, or perhaps even a real wolf hybrid.
if this is what you're looking for, then it's a husky: http://www.countryroadpets.com/Siberian%20Breeds.htm

if this is what you're looking for, then it's a white german shepherd:

wolf hybrid:

Do not ever get a wolf hybrid unless you have land exceeding at least one acre and deep and high fences they cannot jump over or dig through, they are very good escape artists, and do not ever get a wolf hybrid unless you know how to handle a wolf; always treat them like wolves even if they have little wolf in them because they still have wolf blood. And if you do decide to get one, research a lot on them, and then decide, they are not easy to take care of and you never know when the wolf will come through, they could be the sweetest things one moment and truly agressive the next moment. I advice everyone to stick to dogs unless they are professionals.
White huskies are white and have blue eyes or light amber eyes like those of a wolf, although i believe, german shepherds are bigger and more wolf-like, however, they do not have exquisite eyes.
And wolf hybrids...well, they have wolf blood in them, they will look like wolves and have wolf eyes, but they are not easy to take care of and i do not recommend them unless you are a profefssional.
All in all, if you want quality dogs, don't get one for free, often a good, pure bred dog could cost up to $1000 dollars.
I myself have a husky, and they are wonderful dogs.
Do not get a big dog unless you have the time to excercise them and have a yard in which they can run in. |

I think the one that I want is husky but Sirfiddler told me that even this husky isn't easy to take care, but actually the wolf hybrid is also great I think, it's a pity that I'm not pro and no experince handling dog. How big is your husky ? |

Just face it, you don't do a big dog a favour, keeping him in an apartmet all day and walking him twice a day only... In fact, you would not do a small dog a favour either.
Dog's live around 10-14 years . Any idea how much hassle it is to move with a dog ? And don't get me started on how expensive it is. PLUS the quarantine...
A dog is not a fashion item that just looks cute, and that you put in a drawer when you dont like it anymore... |

I agree with SirFiddler.
I have a husky and she is going to be 8 soon. She has black/white coat and blue eyes that eveyone adores but but she was a difficult dog to raise as she was hyper(?) energetic when little. I have seen many husky owners giving up on their dogs because these people didn't have good idea on this breed; they are very strong and you may have problem walking it(my wife can't). After all, huskies are work dogs anyways.
My husky is much calm nowadays and when this Fall comes, I am going to move her from HK to SH and may have to hire a macho a-yi to help me out with the dog!? |

Get urself a cricket, it's easier to walk and cheaper to feed that any dog. You can find em anywhere in fancy boxes, tho their noise might get on your nerves at night... |

| Post subject: puppies for barter |
hi
i was just in an office where they had up on the notice board a message saying someone had puppies and wanted to barter them off...
call jo at 58790231 (she's chinese but also speaks eng) and ask here to tell you the number on the message - its jsut outside her office.
you know if you don't have space dont' get a big dog - they require LOTS of space and LOTS of excercise and attention |
