Post subject: Capoeira...

Hi, is there anyone out there interested in playing capoeira with us??? Slymo and i are into playing with other capoeiristas AND helping new ones to learn. (all free of course!)
we play angola, have one berimbau and wanna play asap.
does anyone randomly have a tamborine????
Also if anyone can suggest a purrrrrfect play place that wouldbe cool.
we are in hongkou, near luxun park. but the park has no grassy spots and i'm not so into clonking my head on concrete!!! but hey - i guess i could learn! its a nice park, right near the subway station (2 stops north of shanghai station)

well, even if you've found a grassy spot, I'm sure you dare not use it comfortably, coz the local ppl like to spit on anywhere, think twice.

Hey guys,

Im definetely interested. Always wanted to learn capoiera. I've learn't martial arts for a long time but haven't been doing much fitness in shanghai.

yeah we're the only ones playing capoeira here in shanghai as far as anyone can work out. and this got posted to technology by mistake. s2097687 do a search for "capoeira" on this forum and check out the thread in recreation and nightlife. ok japo's already posted the link above. you can give me a call this evening if you want directions for how to get there.
