To all expats doing business in SH,
I currently work for DNE Technology(IBM Partner) as an IT Salesman. But, just because we are an IBM Partner does not mean I can only sell IBM products/services. I not only sell IBM, but also provide IT solutions/products to many expat companies in the greater Shanghai area such as TRW Automotive, Faurecia, Sunrise Medical, etc. I just wanted to leave a message to anyone that needs some IT advice, service, solution, hardware. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I will use all my resources too answer them free of charge. I noticed the biggest problem many companies run into is the language barrier and I am here to help anyone through this problem. I work with companies of all sizes and feel free to contact me with any questions at timothychan@dne.com.cn or even MSN me at timwchan@yahoo.com.
Good luck,
Tim |

Does not sound like a good business plan to me. Here is my free advice to you: unless you hope to push Amway products to those expats you are going to help, think again. |

Frenchlover1999,
For your information, I am not here to SELL or PUSH anything. And I, as a fellow expat, was offering my IT knowledge free of charge to anyone that I thought might need some help in a language not so foreign to them. I thought maybe since we are all so far away from home that someone might actually APPRECIATE what I was trying to do. I'm not here trying to earn a quick penny from you, but merely offering advice to you on what I do best, which is solving your Internet Technolgy problems. |

Hi ITGuy,
I volunteer to need your help! I want to know what is the best place to host my multiple websites for mainly chinese viewers. So a VPS (Virtual Private Server) hosting package would be excellent, but must be fast for access from China.
HeHe Thanks. |

InvestinChina,
Sorry for the late reply but I've been busy lately and I though i would get an e-mail when someone actually replied. Let me look over your question and I'll get back to you ask quick as possible.
Sorry for the delay,

Shanghai,
Is there an IT club or committee in Shanghai? I hate to sound like a dork or geek but i'm genuinely intersted.......
Also, I saw that there are not many Blackberry Providers in Shanghai(are there any?) Is it expensive going through hk or the states? Just an Idea

Hey Tim
As for websites, We have Servers in China and US doing mirroring. So access is fast all over the world. If your client just wants fast china access, we can possibly host his site on our server (unless it's a porn site). Let me know.
Laters.
(A reply I received from the proud owners of Shanghaining.com a prominent local site.....I will look into others too) |
