Price of apartment in Shanghai is quite high, you can find easily apartment of your dream.. Have to search a little bit.
For the price, I'd rather suggest that you know your house budget, then locate the area, and visit many apartments, find an agent, they will help you see more apartments so that you can make a better decision for the right one. |

We live by the Century Park subway stop and enjoy the area. It pretty much feels like living in the suburbs. It's quite and the population density isn't that high. Century Garden (HuaMu Road) has most of teh amenities that you have described but it is a little expensive. I would guess a 2 bedroom would run aroun US$ 1500 a month. We live in a complex just next to Century Garden and pay about US$600 for a 3 bed, 2 bath apartment. We don't have a pool but use Centruy Garden's for 30 RMB each time. Shopping is pretty convenient as there is a Metro and Carrefour in the area.
If you want to be closer to things, you may want to look around Dong Chang Road or Lu Jia Zui. As the previous post mentioned, give your budget to an agent and they can offer a list of several places for you to consider. |
