This game is hilarious!
I haven't smashed the groovy hippie stone yet... what happens when you do?
Right now I'm still fighting the rats in the tavern cellar, they suck big time when you are only level 3.

i'm not sure about what happens with the groovy hippie stone but think it has to do when individuals begin to fight one and other... if you smash it then there is some sort of time out or a cease-fire between that person...

didn't play yesterday so will have 80 adventures today! have lots of meats... need to go buy something. any suggestions? thinking of an oven or a cocktail maker...

Cocktail maker sounds like a good investment. Drunken adventuring can be a blast, both on the computer and in Shanghai.

Today I finally kicked some rats' butts, and eventually found the rat faucet /drain whatever. Now I gotta find something that resembles both an asparagus and a knife.... Either that or head to the Spooky Temple .

Did skyline ever start the clan he was talking about?

don't think he's at level 7 yet... was chatting with edgewood last night and i think he said he has joined a clan and he has a car!!!!

seems the adventures are different... after the rat/faucet thing i had to do something at cobb knob and something else... haven't done them yet.

need to get some more food. find any good places to stock up?

How is drunken adventuring any better than normal adventuring?

Actually, forget i asked.

Looking forward to the Shanghai clan being set up. May I join, please?

I think it would be great to have a shanghaiexpat clan!

think i am at level 6 with one player, but skyline must be above that by now... let's see when he can set one up (needs to be at level 7, i think).

not sure how to find people on there... skyline found me, will have to ask him how he did it. it's shanghaimags... if you know how to do it, then let's add. you can send people gifts and meats through the messenger system ... very cool!

oh... i bought the cocktail maker yesterday... but so far haven't been able to concoct anything. anyone have any good recipes?

Yes, a Shanghai clan is a very good idea! I'm still only level 3 but once we get a little further along we should band together.
We need a cool credo though... I've already got some bad ideas...

Anyone know how to kill the bat? I've fought at least 80 adventures in that Guano place but only get the dough bat, perpendicular bat, etc... does it have to do with the blocked entrances? How do you get past them? Where is the King Bat????

Off doing other adventures but would still like to get past that one!

Going a bit batty over here...

Man, my character is hooked on goofballs and I'm getting severe cold turkey. I know I can get them off the shady looking man but at 1000 meat that's just extortionate.

Level 3 and already I'm playing a junkie

Fantastic. I used to play this game I think 2 years ago and I couldn't remember the name of it. Maybe I'll play it again. I still have Dragon Quest VIII to beat though....

If ever there is a Shanghai based clan, I'll be happy as long as the credo mentions "cocktail". Preferably Martinis, with gin (not vodka) and stirred and not shaken, so as not to bruise the gin.

You need two beer lenses and then combine them with meat paste.

You can also buy beer goggles at the flea market, but there is probably more satisfaction in building them yourself.

If we start a Shanghai clan (hopefully with a cool credo) then it would be good to have a mix of character types. I'm a seal clubber, but would consider scrapping him and starting a new character if everyone else is also a seal-clubber. What's the tally so far?

i've got a seal clubber and a disco thingy... i like my disco character better but can also start a new character. you are right that we should be balanced in terms of character.

If no one else is a Pastamancer then I may start a new character today if I have time.

I'm a Disco Bandit

Personally I think that I'm well suited to being a Disco Bandit. I would not be too keen to change.

I found everyone by asking what their name was on the game. Then went to "Messages" & searched the name.

Should be almost instantaneous. They have forums too, you could always ask there. Maybe someone with the game could help if you never got your activation code.

Was out of town for a few days & finally got back in today. I had a good 80 adventures to run through! I'm still at Level 6, so as far a starting a clan, might be a few days. Tomorrow is a rather busy day (some of you know why Smile ), but maybe by wednesday night after a few beers at Senses (maybe some Champagne), I'll be at level 7. Maybe I can start the clan then. Edgewood & I had a few names kicking around. We'll let the masses decide on the credo.
