| Post subject: Buy a Second Hand Car |
Hi, I am looking at buying a second hand car that can last me for the next 2 years. It been 1 years in SH and I find it very inconvience traveling to outer suburbs.
Does anyone know where I can find a decent second hand car yard? What to be careful of when buying a second hand in Shanghai? I have a budget of 100,000RMB, what sort of car can I expect? I will sell the car off after 2-2.5 years
Thanks in advanced |

For a budget of 100krmb you should have no problems getting like a VW polo second hand, maybe about 1-2 years old. The brand new VW polo compact is around 130k plus/minus a little. |

Make sure if you do buy a second hand car that the seller is inclusing the plates. These can be sold separately and could fetch as much as RMB30-35 K.
You also need to transfer the ownership, it costs about RMB2,000 to do it. |
