Laris hands down, although next year he will have some stiff competition from Stefan at Mimosa Supper Club.

Does fine dining necessarily mean expensive? probably some other favorites.

Never thought I'd see Da Marco and Fine Dining in the same sentence. Love the place, go there often, but...

There are some glaring omissions here (Jean Georges?) and whoever came up with this list has very little, if any, idea what fine dining is. Is fine dining a pizza at da Marco? Or chomping on a mediocre salad while eating elbow to elbow with strangers at AFP?

Sorry Michael - this isn't supposed to be mean spirited - but it makes you guys look a little uninformed with a category like this.

Good point, as said, mostly we took the list from nominations by other members. Constructive feedback taken.

None, Jade on 36 outshines everything in Shanghai for creative food worthy of a Michelin or two. Decor is a bit Mumsy, should be groovier - that carpet...A Future Perfect is not remotely 'Fine Dining'! Get outta here!! Not tried De Marco in all honesty, hope to soon as i hear good things, but i doubt fits the 'fine' category...

How about Sashas and Zin - love both; great service and not so hard on the pocket as Laris
