Post subject: National day holidays
I'm thinking of going down to Guilin during the National Day holidays. I've been told this may be suicidal considering the number of people who're going to flood the major cities and attractions in China during that week.

I'm just wondering how true this is and if it's a wise idea to travel to Guilin during that time?

Comments/advice much appreciated.
