will u bring our lunch from home ?
or just keep hungry ?
i am very confuse about it ....
we have canteen in the factory but seems the foreigeners who are working in our company never go there for lunch  |

i had canteen food for like my 1st six mths i was here and then, i cannot tolerate it anymore. so i start making my own salad and sandwiches, till i got tired of it as well. So i order for takeaway or try to get out of office every now and then.. my canteen food is really really oily and it's really unpleasant to have people talkg to you and at same time, spitting all the saliva into your food. |

huh, not good experience 
for salad , is it enough for lunch ? |

No canteen at my work, so i often go outside to have lunch. Sometimes i bring my food that i cooked last night. Sometimes i order or buy food that i bring back to office to eat. Breakfast at home, Eggs, toast, corn flakes milk and fruit juice, i found Elec blender pretty useful for the morning. It's ok for sandwich or pizza but not everyday! |

At least twenty mins in queue if I go to the canteen (work in Shanghai Mart), Disneyland queues! Rather walk out to surrounding restaurants, which luckily there are plenty of choices. |

No breakfast except a coffee and yogurt- occasional banana if I have one in the house.
Staff members (USA) go out for Chinese or alternate between KFC or McDonald.
We do not eat at canteen (cost 10 RMB per meal) can't stand the smell of the canteen food (Don't meant this disrespectfully - it is just that I am not used to the smell and taste) |

You eat in my office - you're gone. No eating in the office [as its relatively small with no common lunch room]. Its bloody disgusting if I have to put up with someone chomping on jiaozi or sandwichs beside me [and vice versa]... If you want to eat - then take it outside, thats the rule. No smoking or eating.
Once a girl pulled out a KFC burger and starting woffing it down at a desk near me. I said "Outside - NOW!". She got the shits and threw it in the bin, like a 3 year old... she left the company a while later. Maybe she thought I was a food Nazi.
That said - I like Sandwichs at lunch (usually round 2), no breakfast apart from coffee. It keeps The Walrus on his toes. |
