Is it worth shipping a car from the US to Shanghai? How hard is selling a US car locally? |

Shipping a car to china, i believe would be taxed 150% based on the valuation of the import authorities.
Furthermore you would need to get a plate for your car which is currently about 30plus k RMB. |

Not advisable unless you are really rich and can afford the black hole for your dollars that bring in and having a car in Shanghai makes. |

Cheaper to go around town via cab most of the time, only 10 rmb for the first 3 km, damn bloody cheap. |
