| Post subject: immigration lines pudong airport |
1. Does anyone know if there is a card or procedure, similar to the Hong Kong Frequent Entry card that expedites you through Pudong airport immigration lines? I am a frequent international traveller, not affliliated with an Asean country which can get you through fast...US citizen
2. I have a residence permit and work permit...do these allow me to go into the Chinese National line? Do they even pay attention to these designations? |

They don't pay attention at all. I usually line up wherever I think it moves the fastest. Never a problem so far. Having said that, it does not really matter if you go through immigration very fast, only to have to wait 20 - 30 minutes for your luggage. Let's face it, Pudong Airport is a logistic nightmare, and about the worst airport that can be found. There are domestic airports here which are by far better. |
